is the bowgun better or is the sword better?

Well it actually depends. bowguns or distant weapons are easy to upgrade because you dont have to use items. But after awhile it gets pretty expensive. And they dont upgrade to better bowgun. Only the attack and i think rarity goes up. Not like a Hunters dagger for example. First it goes hunter dagger then hunter dagger+ then it goes assasin dagger then twin blades. Bowguns doesn't change its looks( its all about the looks man lol) or name. and also guns use amo ( of course) and guns can brake. Unless u use that cheap infinant amo for a gun crap. And also some weapons have special effects like golden blade when the blade on the top starts glowing gold then that means ur gonna to some serious damage man!! So i'd say guns and blades are a good team. If ur fighting strong monster i htink one cant surviv without the other.

vian kut-ku is easy to beat with bolth blades and bowguns

gypserios depends on your skill level

ratholos and rathians will tear you apart if you use bowguns

plesioth is easyer to beat with bowguns

monoblous and diablous are easy to beat with arbilist + just

stand on the 2 ledges in two of the ledges

gravious and basarious are easyer with bolth blades and guns

max out all ammo for plesioth, monoblos, diablos, basarios,
and gravios ARBILIST + WORKS FOR ALL MENTIONED ABOVE

nither lances are the best becus there so accurt

I got a bowgun adn im gonna get Dual Swords so i got both, but with the bowgun i keep gettin dmged by them vespoid things.So annoying but feels so ncie when they explode!hehe

i would use a blade on a powerful dragon unless you have good strong ammo for a bow gun.
