ARK: Survival Evolved Discussion
They are fine with trainers working in single player, as for multiplayer they are only specifically looking for certain hacks like God mode, Floating, things of that sort.. and things that can affect the servers, such as crashing it, lagging it so on so forth and cheats that can transfer your SP character to Multiplayer.
The whole thing is in the Steam forums in a sticky, the convo about CH and other trainer makers can be found there.
From what it sounds like they are just looking for specific game breaking kinda stuff, not really trainers in general.
As for getting banned, I don't believe so.. but you never know..
If something works on multiplayer, I suppose if you do it in a way that doesn't make it LOOK like you're cheating then you might get away with it.
Iffy either way..

I read that also and had to laugh at a theskull07. He posted that Cheathappens is moving to making MP hacks. He doesn't understand the rules for the trainer uses.
There is people that do not link CH so they will say anything to have people and sites target us!
I'm all for hacking attempts in the name of reporting them for money. Reducing the game's vulnerabilities is also a happy side effect.

They offer cash for finding exploitable bugs as well.
IF you try the trainer and it works on a official server, send the the trainer and what you did and they will pay you for it as long as they can repeat it.
