With the soon to be released Steam Link box, trainers routinely use the F1 key to activate and various number pad buttons to activate functions. Since the Steam Link box will primarily utilize the Steam Controller, and is essentially streaming content from your PC, will we need to also have a wireless keyboard on standby or plugged into the Steam Link to activate the trainer functions?

It will be on a Steam OS, so not sure if the binaries will be windows .exe files or not, if not then it doesn't matter.

Right now we have no idea how Steam Link will interact with the desktop that is actually running the games. No idea if the controller will be able to interact with the trainer running in the background on the PC. All of our recent trainers support gamepads and controllers for activating options so it's possible that it will work out of the box, but until we get one in our hands, we have no idea. It may be exactly the same as "Big Picture Mode" which has been around for years.
