i had same issue. then i read post in polish website to do this:
- turn off VSYNC
- turn off unlimited in "frame rate cap"
- run game in window mode without frames.
hope this will help.

Currently I'm doing the following:
-VSYNC off
- frame rate to unlimited
- running in fullscreen mode

Never had a crash since then. Will update if anything happens. It seems different people are getting different results.

i was having same issue but for me i went back to the old nvidia driver and havnt had a CTD since an i have everything maxed out trip SLI GTX980

After the 1.03 patch i still had the screen freeze at Inventory so i tried doing the following VSYNC off, frame rate to unlimited and running in fullscreen mode but i went and trial and error and so far the only thing i needed to change was just unlimited frame rate, vsync still on and using borderless fullscreen.

This is what I'm doing as well and seem to work quite well. So far no crash or hang up.

Had a few odd things happen to me cut scene would hang a bit at 1st castle or after I left the X-roads the other darn thing was G keep jumping with out me doing anything

Well maybe not associated with the settings but this is the second time my game crashed saying my video card just recovered from some XYZ issue. Why the hell...

Anyone know what this 'new' problem is about? The setting I've been using prevent hanging and worked fine but now this sudden CTD and gfx card recovering thingy...what is going on?
