After the yesterdays trainer update my game occasionally jumps into windowed mode from full screen. Sometimes I can Alt-Tab and get it back, but even when I can, suddenly my Inventory screen goes weird. The focus is only on the 1st sword slot, and everything else is greyed out. All my currently equipped items are not there, and the only slot I can equip is the #1 slot...with any item. I can save the game, close it and restart and everything is fine. Playing the game doesn't change either. I have all my equipped items on me and can use them. It is only in the Inventory screen that things are strange. Any ideas?
Ya that happened to me also. I found that its possibly related to not turning off the gwent cheat before you exit the card game. ALSO, I found another HUGE glitch that might involve some of the missions involving CIRI and whenever you do a mission where you don't have access to your inventory. What happened was several of my savegames saved to where I could not access my inventory at ALL. I tried reloading them, rebooting, etc. and no longer had access to my inventory. I tried to pull it up ("I" key) and it said "You can't do that right now" and that was that! I had to go back to a 3 hour earlier savegame before the glitch and the ciri mission. I redid the missions but made sure ALL the trainer options were off and only used the Health and stamina options just before the ciri missions.
Basically the rule is SAVE OFTEN to new saves and don't use ANY of the options but health and stamina when you play a ciri mission or any other mission that involves not having access to your inventory and of course keep the GWENT cheat OFF outside of the card game.
I have the most recent trainer. I've run into a problem. The weight, numpad 6, isn't working for me. I stay overburdened. I will try reloading the game.
I saw there was a patch yesterday, but I didn't see that my game patched. Is it a manual patch? This may be my problem.
You go to the inventory screen, press 6, then exit completely out of the menus and then go back in and it shows your inventory space as 1100 or whatever but you stay overburdened? That happened to me several times. The way to fix it is go back into the inventory and drop one of your items on the ground. It will then get rid of the overburdened state.
