When I use the add xp option the xp bar goes past the xp required for a level, but i dont level up. Anyone else have this issue? I have it with a free trainer as well

You need to earn xp the regular way before the game acknowledge the level update, I only kill one enemy and the level goes up 🙂

I concur, that as of the last patch, the trainer is causing game instability, by just being activated, resulting in a CTD at various situations.

Hello all!

First of all I would like to congratulate the staff on releasing a trainer so soon(as they always do ) after the game/DLC released.
I noticed several people already mentioned this but I have the same situation. The trainer crashes the game straight to the desktop screen without any error message at random moments. I've noticed this occurs mostly when the game is trying to load a new zone, after a cut scene. Don't know if this will help you guys figure out the issue.

If you load up the last save without activating the trainer itself you pass the crash point without any problems so it's definitely trainer related somehow.
It even occurs if you just have it enabled even though you have no option actually turned on.
All the trainer options work great though as it always happens with Cheathappens trainers and I want to thank you once again for all the hard work you guys put into this.
Here's hoping you'll be able to fix this issue to have a fully functioning trainer without any more crashes.

Well so far after downloading the latest version of the trainer that was fixed. Gwent and all options work with no issues at all for me.

I7 4ghz QC Haswell 1150skt
MSI Z87-G43
MSI GTX 970 4gb ddr5
Corsair 16gb DDR3 1600mhz
2 x 1TB Seagate 7200rpm's
Win7 64bit

Steam trainer in Admin mode always and AVG ignores the trainer and tmp file. Thats how I role.

For some reason i still got CTD time to time. When trainer is not activated game works fine. After activation game crashes everytime on attached save. Tested many times.
Still good trainer, save early, save often 🙂

for every trainer it says "cannot create help.txt file"
iv e disabled all antivirus and firewall and run as damin, still getting the same results 😭

I am also having the CTD issue while trainer is activated. It seems to happen at pre-determined intervals along main quest lines, either at specific points of a cutscene, or when I reach a specific point in the world. The attached savegame should be immediately before one of these crash spots. Spoiler:

I have noticed that every time the game crashes, Steam shows the game as updating very briefly. Upon reviewing network usage, there is a very small blip of usage by Steam that coincides with these crashes. It looks as if maybe the game is periodically running a file verification, which would explain why people are experiencing crashes at set points in the game.
