Witcher 3, The - Wild Hunt Message Board  

I noticed today that the Unlimited Slot Potions/Bombs (Hotkey Numpad 7) isn't working anymore. When I press it I hear "Activated" but the bombs/potions still get used up. Kinda weird since it was working fine yesterday. Anyone else have this problem? I have the GOG version with all current DLC installed.

I haven't played the last coupla days but it was working. Has there been a new patch lately? I didn't think anything had changed since the 1.11 patch in October.

Did you try shutting down the game and trainer and reloading again (with the usual Admin Rights)? I always activated the options from the Inventory screen. Mine is also GOG and all DLC's.

Apparently this was being caused by some mods I installed using NMM. The mods in question were armor redesigns, not sure why they caused the problem. Here are links to the mods that I used that caused the trainer command to not function in case anyone else has this issue:

That's happened before with the Mods. Glad ya found it anyway.

I think my last playthru was pre 1.08 patch.

Patched to 1.11 and all sorts of bugs including -1 HP enemies. Broke the game on the Skellig boat since the pirates cant be killed.

Couldnt seem to fix it - GoG server problems prevented verification. Nexusmods bug fix also didnt work.

So I installed this trainer again (worked when I last played pre 1.08) to hopefully use F8 to fix things.

Unfortunately, when I press F1 on the menu, the mouse button gets stuck (unresponsive). When I enter game using the keyboard, I get the 'freelook' cam in the air or ground/sea. Unable to control Geralt at all.

Anyone have similar issues and know of a fix?

I noticed you said you used F8. That turns off all damage in the game to both Geralt and the badguys so that's why the pirates can't be killed.

Try turning F8 off and you should be able to kill them.

So Cal, I have a question..

is it normal for the trainer to use upwards of 10% CPU usage searching for the game waiting for it to be opened? does it still do this even when the game is found and activated?

No - I meant I played the game post patch 1.11 without trainer. Got the -1 HP bug with the same pirates (on the ship to Skellig).

Differen saves didn't fix it. Cant fix via GoG verify cos of server problem.

I thought I may be able to use this trainer with the F8 function to somehow fix the bug. However, when I activate the trainer at the menu, my mouse cursor becomes stuck.

If I try to enter the game regardless, I am in free cam mode and cannot control Geralt.
