is this perhaps bec. of the trainer? it seems they've become non aggressive. Didn't you notice?

It has to do with the new One Hit Kills. Apparently when its activated, any dinosaur within detection range will run from you cause you basically are the top predator. The new OHK also only does 1% damage which will render your XP and ig balance to to the lowest reward which is useless if you are trying to farm ig balance or leveling. Whether something can be done about that or not, its still a fun feature if you want that 100% integrity trophy shot.

The trainer notes inform you about the XP issue which is part of the game and not fixable unless the one hit kills will not set the dino health to 1 instead it sets your damage to a very high number.

However that dinos dont attack is because of their are low health and are triggered to run away then. It is part of the AI. If you dont like it then dont use the one hit kill function.

I figured it out. If you take a shot or 2 at the dino and THEN activate the OHK, they immediately die due to the damage you already did. Or..activate OHK while they're very far away and haven't detected you. Take the shot. They die. Then deactivate it.
