Hey everyone - I received a response regarding a request for a trainer I made:

"This request could not be filled. Your credits have been refunded to you. Please do not request this title again in the future as it may incur a penalty."

Is the penalty clause standard? I may have requested this trainer a while ago and forgot about it so I'm just curious.

But the main point of this post is what about adding a reason why it cannot be filled? Lack of demand, impossible to do, etc.? Just a thought.

It is fully explained on the request form on when a penalty occurs:

Use this form to request that a game be added to the active requests list. Games already on the request list or that have previously been declined will be ignored.

DO NOT USE THIS FORM TO REQUEST MULTIPLAYER ONLY GAMES OR TITLES ON THE PERMANENTLY RETIRED LIST.

Due to a high volume of request spam, it now requires 50 available credits in order to submit a title request. If the request is approved, these 50 credits will be applied towards the game. If the request exists on the permanently retired list or is an online or multiplayer only game then your credits will be used as a penalty. If the request is denied for any other reason, your credits will be retured to you.

This form should not be used to request an update to an existing trainer or for a different version of an existing trainer. The official trainer thread on the message board for that title is the appropriate place for those kinds of requests.

Trainers are often refused for the following reasons:
-Too difficult (how the game was written or intentionally written to block trainers)
-Game is unstable (subjected to several patches or is not considered beyond beta)
-Game data is server side and impossible to manipulate.
-Game is multiplayer only.
