Got to finish the other ones! Comparing it to the other ports this is as Close as you get to FF by my standards! The fight mechanics are great, keeping it traditional yet improved With some tweaks here and there! Also the fanservice is NEPNEPNEP!
What goes around, might crash and stay there.

I love this franchise, and have all but the idol simulator of it. Also, this is a vastly improved version of the original game, and would actually recommend for people who like JRPGs, or at least have fond memories of how they used to be. Also, Re;Birth 2 is confirmed to come out on PC eventually. So here's hoping that nearly every one of these games makes it to PC in the not too distant future (probably a bit delusional with that hope).

I like that it's kind of a hybrid of action and turn-based JRPGs. You don't just stand there and go through menus, but you essentially freeze time and position yourself and use the 360 controller buttons. To me, it'd be faster to not have to run up to the character and just stand still, but there's something fun about it being this way. First impression as it's only been a few hours. It feels like a Dragon Quest game to me more than Final Fantasy, but it's really a good hybrid of RPGs new & old.

Lots of dialogue...also note that you can choose Japanese voices, and that makes the battles more interesting too instead of Saturday morning cartoonish.
Oh you big bad anonymous internet commenter and master gamer, please enlighten me with your wisdom so I may one day be as good as you.

I am enjoying it much more than I expected to. I'm not a fan of JRPGs in general, but this is a pretty fun game. My only gripe with it is the rather poor translation, which isn't a game issue.
