a little bit of reading goes a long way...
F9 Key: Add Power Level - make sure to enter the SKILLS page to
see your XP and current Levels. Each press adds 1 more
level. Note that some items require that you actually
earn legit XP and set off the 'levelled up' functions of
the game normally to unlock them (ie. some weapons and
blueprints, etc.) However, your skill points are based on
your Level, so you can use this to level up to max level
and then you can use your skill points to purchase the
skills, etc. Please note you may have to ride the
elevator in the safehouse to make the option 'stick' and
create the 'skill points' for that skill.
F10 Key: Add Agility Level - make sure to enter the SKILLS page to
see your XP and current Levels.
F11 Key: Add Survivor Level - make sure to enter the SKILLS page to
see your XP and current Levels. Each press adds 1 more
level. Note that some items require that you actually
earn legit XP and set off the 'levelled up' functions of
the game normally to unlock them (ie. some weapons and
blueprints, etc.) However, your skill points are based on
your Level, so you can use this to level up to max level

you get skill points by leveling up. you have to increase your level. the skill points are directly tied to
YOUR CURRENT LEVEL
and
THE AMOUNT OF SKILLS YOU HAVE ALREADY UNLOCKED.
there isn't an address or variable holding 'skill points' in the game
best,

Maybe I didn't see the post, but how do you get the survival tree to update for the weapon vendors in the main area?
You know, you have to be survival level x to get specific items.
The problem is.. I'm level 20 or so survival (going level by level) and still can't buy things that require level 5. Are they stuck on the max-progression for the storyline?
I've gotten skill points and blueprints for every level. It's just the vendors that seem to be stuck thinking I'm level 4.
BTW: I restarted so I'm on the mission just before going to get the first beacon.
Also. I used the safehouse exp to level up the survivor tree so I'm much higher level than I should be at this point in the story(obviously). I was hoping to get access to firearms... but the vendors simply aren't updating.

I created the reset stats option just for this situation.. you need to reset your stats and level up normally or try to level up to just BELOW the level you need and then use the MAX XP to set the XP to almost full and then learn some legit XP.
best,
Cal
the xp options dont work properly, when i was using CoSMOS, i found 8 values, that all needed changing. I could change 2 specfic values, and ingame it leveled me up and gave me skill points, but it didnt allow me to buy new equipment from the venders, only if i changed all 8, did it work properly and allow me to buy the appropiate level gear from the venders. The problem is, im not sure the reset option will work properly either, if that jsut resets the values the other options where increasesing, the hidden values will be different to the oens being reset, and it may get all messy.
Also backing up saves doesnt seem to work, i backedup the out folder, and tried restoring the saves, but when i try to load the game, it says my save is corrupted.
I used this trainer on the last 3 levels of survivor, but its messed my game up, and i cant restore the backup, so im gonna have to restart from the beginning. I think i'll use the trainer customizer to block out those options, so as not to accidently activate them.
thanks for the feedback, but the XP options in fact work 100% here. the problem is people are jumping ahead. writing to one value automatically updates the others. Most people (also) have no idea how the data is stored and displayed correctly.
I have multiple savegames from various users working fine. Do not assume the 'trainer' has messed up your game, especially since you haven't used it but for less than a few hours. Also, note YOU YOURSELF said you manipulated the game on your own BEFORE using the trainer.
also, as noted, I suggested to lock the values in that you take the elevator.
To each his own, but there is a reason I waited and tested awhile before we posted this trainer so I could test it thoroughly.
