I've found two and tried them in the 94 edition through Dosbox.
While they both execute and run fine, it seems to make Tie Fighter think you're running it on a 286.
Also, one of the two's functions (TIE_TRN) don't work, and the second of the two (TINENWT) makes the game crash.
TIE_TRN and TIENWT were the file names. Can't remember where I got them from. Maybe if you get them to work let me know

I let my father die because I trusted him. Because he was convinced that I had to wait. That the world was not ready. What do you think?

I must admit I would love a trainer for the GOG 1998 version of this game. It looks like a nightmare though, I had a dabble with CoSMOS and it gets really upset even with hotkeys etc.
I have seen Cal do some great trainers, but this would be the daddy for me as it seems to get really upset if you do anything in the background. I hope he does manage it though..
