no.. the option sets the health and max health to high values.. theoretically you can eventually die if you take enough damage since turning the option off prevents the game from rewriting the max health over the current health.
but after 26 options and 31 hot keys, I do not plan to do anything more to this trainer...

I can try and help you by simply going over the obvious. Do a system's check under your control panel. Is the operating system that you are running 64Bit? If not, that would be your reason as to why.
Second could be, are you running any particular anti-virus or firewall that might be impeding with the software? If so, that maybe your problem.
Have you tried restarting your computer and trying again? That could be your problem. (Like it was mine)
All the reasons I've talked about are definitely posted at www.cheathappens.com/trainer_troubleshooting.asp as you've stated you've already gone through. My suggestion would be to go through it one more time cause if the trainer is turning on, yet not communicating with the game that you are running, I could only assume that the problem is not the trainer. But that's just me.

I have the same exact issue that you have. i have gone though and made sure firewall is not an issue, and i do indeed have 64 bit OS and for some reason everytime CH gives a trainer for a 64 bit game and its a 64 bit trainer i cant do it and no solution can ever be found why.
I bought unlimited a long time ago. with this bug i run into it sucks......but most times its not an issue, i have ran into it twice. i in this case go to another site and grab a diffrent trainer cause i cant use this great awesome one. so i have to settle for a far lesser trainer when it comes to 64 bit only on this 64 bit game with my 64bit OS lol
