Dark Souls II Message Board  

Anyone else being driven crazy with the console to PC key mapping nightmare? I can't seem to level up once I get to Majula since the controls to move the cursor right and left seemed to be only mapped to a controller. I have tried binding a variety of other buttons, but nothing works.

Any thoughts?

I found that shift + left mouse button would interact with stuff and shift + right mouse button would use an item. Some of the mappings were a bit weird and I had to redo them. but else I had no problems leveling up. also enter is interact key.

Thanks, I tried the Shift and Mouse Button as well and nothing. I will keep playing with it.

To level up near the bonfire in Majula there is a hooded woman near a cliff talk to her, she is the one that levels you up.

problem is not where to level up, the problem is how to level up using keyboard mouse clicking on those stats or using arrow keys does nothing namely

Both clicking the arrows next to the stats with my mouse and pressing left and right on the keyboard arrow keys are working for me as a means of leveling what I want to level up. This is working in fullscreen as well as windowed. Not really sure why it wouldn't be working for you. If you haven't already, I would recommend performing the steam "verify the integrity of the game cache."
