Yes because the trainer cleans the code injections it did on exit. Why would you want to close the trainer but still use the trainer options?

Yes research is stuck to 1 turn. I also did not use the research function. Can this be looked at please? Also is there anyway to make the research cheat less powerful?

you missunderstood. He are not using the F5 option but the 1turn research is active when you start the trainer and ist is no possibility to deactivate it. Pls take a ool on it because I have the same problem.
Every turn i research something new without activated this cheat and the problem is i cannot deactivated it

Unlimited Ship Health function is still not working for me...
Ships show 9999 health, but are damaged and killed as if they had their original health!

Are you in MANUAL battle mode? Have you selected and keep selecting your ship?

It does NOT work in auto battle mode.

A) This is not in the trainer description
B) Even when I specifically used it the way you described it, my ship still died.

Just for the record: I tried it both with selecting the ship at the beginning and let it stay selected as well as keeping the ship selected by spamming my mouse button over the ship.

Final Report says:
Starting HP 9999
Final HP 0
Max HP 0

even when I occasionally win, it says something like:
Starting HP 9999
Final HP 60
Max HP 100

The "Final HP 60" is what irritates me... it seems, the 9999 is just a face value and the underlying true hp is not influenced by the trainer.
