Once the event viewer is opened click on 'Windows logs' and 'Application' on the left side. Now search for the error in the list in the middle of the window.

But it's mostly likely caused by either .NET framework or the missing C++ redistribution.

like the CH trainer for The Cave. If you ever make a mega trainer

It was a .net framework problem even though I had the latest 4.5 installed. I downloaded and installed Microsoft Visual Studio and it loaded the net frameworks. Now The trainer works fine, Thanks for the help!

In the future, you may find the Reliability Monitor may provide an easier to read interface to use when tracking errors. Most program and OS crashes will appear here. You can use the Start Menu search function to locate it (May be listed as "View reliability history" )

C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\MercurySteam\Castlevania Lords of Shadow Mirror of Fate HD

I got further so have not found another boss battle save yet just as well you sent in yours.

Savegames are NOT shareable, sadly. But I've updated the trainer (I thought this is an old game, surprise it got patched) and fixed the health so it shouldn't affect a boss enemy anymore.

Will be posted soon.
