A DLL stands for a Dynamically Linked Library and contains a compiled file for a particular functionality (In Java, these files have a CLASS extension). Usually the EXE assumes main control with it's own functions while occasionally accessing DLLs for specific functionality. For this game in particular it appears to use the DLL to handle the bulk of commands responsible for running the game (the main manager of the game engine that is) rather than the exe file itself.

Normal flow of a game usually looks like this:
EXE <==> DLLs

Where as this game exhibits a flow of:
EXE <=> Mithril.DLL <==> Other DLLs

Where the EXE exhibits as few interactions with Mithril as possible. It is an architecture decision the developers had made for better or worse.

is there a new working trainer for this? i just bought this game as a bundle from a website and i just added in the game, and the trainer don't seem to be working

if you press one of the resources options, for example: option 1 (food) it will deduct the rest of the resources to zero or lowers it greatly.

It does that with all the resources options.
