Yeah it is true, Sandisk is the first company to announce their Solid State Drive that uses a DDR3 connection. And can get around 1GB/s read speeds. Which would make it great for cooling, but a negative is it will essentially take up 2 slots (you could put RAM in the corresponding ganged slot but it would reduce all the RAM to slow ganged mode)
Prepare your Wallets!
The smarter among you will notice that it will use the motherboard for power, which is a bonus, also for people with small cases this could be great for future builds since no large HDs need to be fitted nor cables dangling all over the place (if you are poor at cable management).
