I have 2 versions of divinity installed on my machine. One is a legit copy of steam (1.0.47) and the other is 1.0.37 that is not.
When I need to cheat I simply fire up the .37 version; edit the attributes, talent points and gold and then save the game. I then go back to my steam copy, load the saved game and play with my godly character
Yeah .. that's the way to go. Much easier than waiting for a update trainer. Hope Larian just don't change the save game format. I've a Steam 1.0.41 on my ssd and a questionable version 1.0.36 on my other drive.
Now at a new location.

They won't change the format otherwise you would need to start the game again.
I don't need the unlimited health cheat since my characters are so badass
Is it possible to share save games? Unfortunately I just got into this game, and as I can see, there are no trainers for the version I have, obviously due to tedious patches being pushed out.
Yup that's what I'm doing.

Actually, its possible to change the save game format w/o requiring a new game, all they would have to do is load the game with the old save format, and when it goes to save it, encrypt it with a different algorithm that the older versions can't read, and then you're done. new save "format" no new game needed.
I got an email notification saying "How to enable god mode for both parties" trainer is update...but the one I see is the same I saw before .40 version. So is that the same one?
You can find it under MISCELLANEOUS, it's from a contributor not CH staff. Good find Darksider!
Oops! Didn't see that. Thanks
