I want to see AC set during the US Civil War or even during the old west and you can be Billy the Kid and find out if Pat Garrett really shot you dead or let you go.

would like to see Civil War.....make it that there are different possible endings by choosing which side to fight for, Choosing the Union and you get the opportunity to save Lincoln from assassination by the Templars who are supporting the South. Choosing the South will allow the Confederacy to spread all over the US and assassinate the President to put in a Templar as the new president (either by sending an assassin to do it or choose to do it yourself

Next would possibly be revolutionary France/Napoleonic wars as that's the next major timeline battle.

They've got to do the american civil war/wild west one as that'll sell big in the US I think.

First and second world wars are a maybe, but that would make them the 'Desmond creed' be in his Grandfather/great- grandfather little to close unless perhaps they turn it around and have him going into the body of a 'traitor/rogue' to the assassins organisation.... hmmm interesting twist perhaps.

Maybe do a future set one :P the aliens have landed?

IF they are gonna end it sometime I really hope they would do WHAT I ALLWAYS WANTED SINCE AC1 an AC GAME in MEDIEVAL JAPAN IT would be perhaps the best game in the series to be an assassin/ninja going after shoguns and imagine the beautiful graphics buildings/ASIAN architecture to climb ... .ALSO it would be awesome IF they think of this to do a collaboration with an Japanese CO for voice acting to be more original IN Japanese with English subs. THIS last came to me while playing NARUTO 3 on PC I got chills every time that the narrator spoke such an awesome voice I am babbling I know but it is me DREAM AC....

I'm really hoping for Japan, they mentioned zombies couldn't be done (although there was a voodoo story about zombification in Jamaica), glad about that by the way.
Ninjas from Japan seemed to be interesting in the view of Abstergo (and in mine!)
Because they named the Japan era by name (Senkoku Jidi) it could be plausible for AC5 or an App.

In the files they also mentioned a employee the was related to the executioner of Jeanne D'Arc so that's a nice connection for Abstergo (and EA (Ís Abstergo EA?)

WW2 was a nice period for Abstergo but it was also said that it would be too close in history, for that reason the wanted to exclude era's with cars.

Napoleon and China are good options too but since it wasn't mentioned too much in the game (to me.. i'm at 62%) i think they'll go with either the revolution in France or Japan.
Japan is my favorite and because that period is lesser known than the French revolution period it might be a more interesting storyline for Abstergo/EA.



For me the nicest thing is if it's a story that isn't known by movies and musicals.
We've seen the wild west and the civil war in movies, we heard about the story of Jeanne D'Arc.
And yes, there are a lot of ninja movies, but do we know the politics behind those assassins?

Mirokunite's suggestion sounds nice to me, that time is an interesting period indeed, lots of history there..

The time when the english start interfering ther is interesiting too although a little more know by some movies (Samurai with tom cruise for instance)

For me anything with China or Japan would be awesome, cool weapons, cool melee fighting and lots of interesting history.
And ofcourse, assassins are part of their culture.. what else does Abstergo want?

It's a better storyline than being a pirate all of a sudden instead of an assassin.

@seancass34, your suggestion is interfering with history, you can't kill off Lincoln because that never happened.
You can try but you'll have to fail because that's know to men today.

The way the game is set up now is that Abstergo is a secret organisation in the present day and they make money for their activities by selling computergames,
The computergames we are playing at the moment (nice backstory btw.).
