Was just about to check if there had been an update as trainer was being a pain and un co-operative but now no need - just patiently wait

New trainer for some reason lets me do option #2 Add Bricks in free mode but for some reason not once I start a story mission

I Decided to do a full restart from scratch as considered it was a possible mismatch between trainer versions for the savegame I had but no joy - and yes I am following instructions to the letter by not attempting to use add brick until in a mission as it didnt work with mission #1 Sand Central but once on the heli carrier it let me add bricks but now in mission #2 nada can bump up brick amount.

I'm having the same issue I can't use the option #2 Add Bricks in story mission, It sometimes works for me in free roam. A fix would be greatly appreciated

It works in free roam yes. It's because I've received dozen of complains about money not working. Therefore I've changed it and now I got the other people complaining it doesn't work as it has worked before.

Well, it's because of the True Believer objective inside each mission, which requires gathering a certain amount of studs for each particular mission.

Some levels have pretty high requirements, forcing us to spend inordinate amounts of time hunting down as many studs as possible, breaking the flow of the game.

numberpad 7 option for adding studs in the mission doesn't work for me at all, in fact i don't even get an activated sound when i press it

I cannot get the option 7 to work either. No sound, no indication that it is doing anything. Also, the freeze timer does not seem to work on any timers unless I am not starting the cheat properly.
