Might & Magic X - Legacy Message Board  

Is there anyway to use CoSMOS to get "Skill Points" for this game? I am not talking about the "Ability Points" that the trainer gives you, but the actual Skill Points that you get when you level to put into skills or allow u to unlock skills... I downloaded C.E. and have tried the only way I knew or thought would work, and am getting nowhere. 0x90 told me to try C.E. and he thought that I would be using 2bytes and like I said I tried what I thought, even trying 4bytes, and got nowhere and besides I am sooo new to using CE, and only used it in Lost Planet 3, because someone in the forums on that game page posted how to use it, but here I am dumb... lol

I started using C.E for state of decay because it had a more diverse option list for it than cheat happens trainers. However it already had a script made for it where as there doesnt appear to be one for might & magic legacy yet.

Im pretty sure you could do it manually but its a bit out of my league im afraid.

Thanks for the reply, but a while after this post was put up, 0X90 added the option for skill points to the trainer for the game, so to anyone else, I don't need help with getting C.E. to work with MMX:L Thanks!

P.S. How and did u get CE to work with state of decay and what options are u currently using? I am prolly gonna need a walk through, lol cuz as I said before I no barely anything about CE and making it work, the tutorial it gives u when u first launch it, only give a rough estimate of how things work, but not all games are the same, as in using CE the same way, so any help there?

There is a CT file you can get from CoSMOS, just google game name and CoSMOS as the boolean.



I am looking for the location of resistances, so I can bump them up a bit to get past those monsters in the Cursed Ruins.

Have you had any luck finding the resistances? I'd like to raise them a bit as well... Problem with the resistances is that you don't have many chances of triggering the change of one res multiple times and detect it in the CoSMOS...

I edited the Character class static csv and gave myself high resistance for each character class and started the game again.

Ok so I found the CharacterClassStaticData.csv for MMX:L and opened it with Microsoft Excel, but am not sure what to do or how to edit anything in their... and this one on a friends PC, so I dont have Excel on my pc, so am not sure what other program will work... So Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

download open office and open it with open office calc. in the opening dialogue, set separator options to comma (and only comma), edit whatever you like, when saving, tell it to keep current format.
