I have as well the same problem, activating pattern crash ALWAYS the game when you check them in mask options.
We are many having this problem so maybe


EDIT: We need to wait some seconds or the game crash! It's work perfectly with the update 11 there is something wrong?

tested for a FOURTH time here and still working with no crashes and I applied colors and textures and patterns on 3 separate masks..
