whaddya know, it does say it requires the base game.

Only source I can find about Dragonfall being a standalone is this news article;

Presumably the plans changed in the past few months.

eh, no. hbs never claimed it would be standalone. all the interviews and kickstarter updates and press releases including those from the same time as that article always label dragonfall as an add-on to the base game and do not mention anything about it being standalone. the reason that is the only source you can find mentioning otherwise, outside of fan wishes/speculation, is that the author misunderstood the name change and the bit about individual pricing vs bundle.

Yep it is a misunderstanding, but in regards to your previous post about it being disappointing that its retired now that the game is "finally worth playing"

I don't see that anywhere. The game is still active according to the status box, they are just busy with other trainers at the moment I assume. We might get a new trainer later today or tomorrow, no terrible rush really.

i wrote "seems" because sr is low priority at best and dragonfall is listed as retired on the requests page, though that might have come from the assumption that it would be standalone.

Ok , I was wondering if I should put this up or not but here goes nothing. After a little search I found that you can enter debug mode by pressing "Ctrl+F1" or "Alt+~". This brings up the debug menu. On the top right corner the last option is cheats. This allows you to enter god mode, add karma, add money, and all other kinda cheating stuff that you desire. Give it a bash and you'll realize it's quite extensive. Have fun.

PS: I think these guys know their audience.

Ahhh, thats perfectly fine, if it had been retired without having any inbuilt cheat options I would probably be pretty disappointed, but that makes perfect sense.

In fact, I have often wondered about some of the trainers you guys have made in the past, a lot of the times you add stuff that is either unavailable even if the game has inbuilt cheats, or your trainer is less finicky, but there have been a few games where the trainer offers nothing more than what you can get by using the ingame console.

Skyrim for instance is in many ways a waste of your guys time and efforts because of the robust options offered by the console. (though the perk points option is fantastic, and the only way to get them is to use your trainer.)

This makes perfect sense really, and if it makes it easier for you to focus on games that actually really need a trainer thats great.

The only thing I want to alter is my essence loss when installing cyberware, which isn't an option with the built in cheats, so it's a shame you won't be updating this trainer. However I respect that your time is better served building trainers for games with no console cheats available.
