@jackbig- Thanks man i'll chk it.

i added some more info in my reply king

Thanks again dear friend but I read those before and I'm still not sure about it because I read others as well that note that the audio transmmited in the Hdmi is slightly interfering the digital signal, I hope these are urban legends but still I need to be sure not every day I go out and buy myself a screen..

that's why the quality of the cable, but if its kept a short cable, and a round cable, not a flat one, it shouldn't interfere

anyway in our case , the signal comes from the video card to the monitor, and do we use monitor speakers for hdmi sound, from the graphics card to the monitor? i never did lol, another case though would be the second hdmi going to a big television screen, video audio blueray signal all going over 1 "longer" cable which needs to be a good quality then

also the monitor you buy has all those inputs mostly dvi hdmi dp what ever, and hdmi the newer ones all have, but its still the hdmi cable quality that decides in case of interference

in other words if hdmi on the device itself already interferes with audio, then we cant even use hdmi on the card itself, and need to use dvi

True.. true... but the specific Samsung model I want looks more aesthetical.

You can get cheap 3D Vision ready monitors out there, if you can try and get a Hanns-G HS233 they are cheap and has great 3D quality, requires powered glasses of course.

You can watch 3D or use HQ gaming on HDMI, but it had to be a revision 4 or higher cable. Or you can use a DVI-D cable (DVI-I will not do 3D stuff).

Most 120hz monitors will always come with DVI connectors.

When I say no difference at the consumer lever, I mean no difference at the level of someone who is buying cables to use with his PC at home (unless his PC is one of those $20,000 machines that runs six monitors in surround or a professional studio setup that requires blah blah blah)
