So I have never used a no-cd fix before but I'm attempting to now because I have no idea where the disc is for one of my games. Can anyone help me out?

What game is it for? I'm pretty sure if you locate the no-cd fix file online, they come with readme files. If not, the ones I've used usually come with the instructions of finding the game's exe and replacing it with the no-cd fix.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum. So far I have been unable to find a read-me or instructions either in the downloaded file or online.

Generally, it'll be a .exe file.
Look in the folder the game is installed in for a file of the same name.
Replace the original .exe with the one in the downloaded zip/rar/7z.
In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, 'Make us your slaves, but feed us.'

Thanks! I'll give it a whirl and let you know if it worked.

Just remember games that get re-released as a platinum version etc hardly have a crack associated with them, but usually its the last patched version anyway.
Right click on your games .exe file and goto properties and then the details tab, there it will hopefully show which version you have and you can get the crack/no-cd for that.
