I own the cd retail version and It is forcing me to install the enhanced version before I am allowed to play the game, Is there anyway to get around the forced to patch issue, Its like a 15gb patch.

Eh 15gb aint that bad. On a standard connection of 10 megs. (most people are 3 to 10 megs in the us) It would be done in 2 or 3 hours. Just do it while you sleep.

However you using the gog version?

No I just have a regular version I bought back when the game first came out, I finaly took your advice and let it just patch overnight got it up to 3.3 now. Whats the differences in the gog version?

I could be wrong but I do not believe there is a difference in the gog.com version, no in the way you're asking.

The game just updates very smoothly & automatically (considerably more so than steam, in my opinion)

I don't want to get the enhanced version as its 10 gb extra when I already have the game which is 13 gb, how do i make it not require update. I even tried disconnect my connection but when it asks for CD Key it just shuts down after

You can use no cd fix.
