Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40k series both were games I spent hours playing.
Always been fascinated about WW2 strategy games. Specially when details are high and game makes sense better than notion of hoarding up the map with units to achieve goals. Warhammer 40k absorbed me mainly by its story line and the whole world of warhammer. Game was also perfectly balanced to my expectations. I'm still playing WM2 from time to time.

"I'm not even sure if we are a family...". Holding an axe by the knob as she was standing at the arch of the doorway, she said. "Still I can dream, can't I?". He quibbled.

The World Ends With You The script. The characters. The setting. The fun and unique battle system. ****ing tin pin slammer.
Okami dat atmosphere. Pretty much everything is damn near beautiful. The music, the art style, the pre-final boss fight cutscene with Reset playing ;_; (Link) and then the pretty easy and underwhelming final boss which is made to feel like the best boss fight in the world because of the music (Link). The battle system was cool, albeit repetitive. If you like the Zelda series it's pretty similar. But a lot better. In pretty much every way.
Psychonauts because The Milkman Conspiracy is the best level from a video game ever. Also, it's friggin hilarious.

It would have to be Pokemon Crystal. I don't play it now but I played it every year at least once for about 10 years or so. Hmm maybe I should play it again.

The greatest games I can think of off the top of my head are:
Doom/Doom II: The daddy of modern action games with a perfect weapon/enemy assortment, and is just well... Perfect!
Tetris: Do I really have to explain this one? If you disagree you probably haven't played it.
Oregon Trail: Weird selection I know but I was able to play this game during school which was awesome, that and the game is still entertaining.
Bioshock: I must admit that I am a sucker for deep sea stuff so this game is mainly sold by the city itself.
Treasures of the deep: Possibly my favorite psx game for the reasons mentioned above plus crazy awesome graphics that to this day hold up well!
And last but most important! (however that works)
Mechwarrior 2/Sim City 2000 SE: Between these two games I became so addicted to the computer that my parents took me to see a psychiatrist! True story!
