    How do I remove that bar? I seem to recall not having it there when I installed the OS, but now there it is. Thanks

    1. Tools > Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Deselect "Always show menus"
    4. Click on "OK"

    click Organize on the lower toolbar

    then go to layout.

    un-check Menu bar
