Hello, when I activate option 4 and I put points of ability, they do not stay when I close the skill menu ...
what should I do please?
I play on the latest version of gog, would there be need for an update?
would it be possible to have a character editor please?

I'm not sure what it is. The instructions say to make sure I have downloaded the .Net framework. I have already downloaded it, but the trainer looks like it runs on the older system before the framework as it has the old CH logo on it. When I click on it, it says to press okay to continue and then it opens a prompt to ask what type of program to use for that file.

That usually is caused by the trainer and/or work folder not being excluded from antivirus software.

Please disable/uninstall all antivirus, firewall and other security software including browser addons and extensions. Right click "Run as Administrator" on trainer and game. Please note that some security products may still block access to trainer injection even when disabled and must be completely uninstalled. If this is the case, please contact the product vendor for instruction on the proper way to prevent the trainers from being blocked by their software or find a better alternative.

Extract trainer and make sure trainer/launcher/editor is in a folder excluded from virus scans. Empty quarantine folder if needed or set anything trainer related (paths and EXE's) to ALLOW. Disable any Live/Active/Real-Time tools which may trigger false positives in security software that may terminate the game/trainer when it's activated or options used.

may need to be added to exclusions as well. Click and select "Run as Administrator", read the instructions and try again.

I'm having the same issue here. It seems to work all the way through the levelling up process. If at any time during levelling up you click on the stats tab, it shows what you've set them to. But when you click complete and the level up summary comes up, it only shows the 1st point given, (Usually Strength)

Tried all of the above. Trainer refuses to start up, and won't show up in the standalone option in the manager.

Added the folders, .exe files etc to the exclusion list and it still asks me to start 'the program' with or without running it as administrator.

I know it's an old trainer, but hopefully someone can take a look at it as the game is still very much popular. 😈

First of all. I strongly suggest you remove the trainer manager. It has been discontinued for over 1 year now, so most likely that wouldn't work either way.

Second I tried to download the trainer and ran it as admin. My AV tossed warning, which is normal for older trainer, but the trainer it self did open up normal.
I would double check you have excluded all the folders and .tmp files needed for older trainers. And also check it hasn't blocked anything that would continue to be blocked even with exclusions set.
List of folders and files that need to be excluded:
