Restart game, go ingame where you can fly around with your ship, press F1 and listen for the second 'trainer activated' sound. Also this trainer was written for the latest desura version of the game, in case you're running a different version.
If it still doesn't work, I would appreciate if you can send me your savegame.
This is the dasura dawnstar.exe ver 3.5.6.44817 Which was downloaded right after I seen the trainer. I will try it again.
Well, you need to wait for second "trainer activated" so there will be 2 of them.
Then press desired key.
As for weapons, trainer works only for FIRST primary weapon You have (in my case at least), so weapon in SLOT 1, weapons in slot 2 and 3 still use ammo. Unlimited missles work like a charm, same for shield and armor.
I know that I have to wait. I did that the first time and the only thing that worked was the missiles.
Now the options 1 to 4 work and 8 and 9 work to on items and equipment. But unlimited money does not work.
Which version of the game do you have?
There's Desura which is what this trainer is based on and hopefully it is identical to the other digital download versions.
There's Gamersgate and maybe other sources which ideally is one and the same as above with just one version of this digital download alternative.
And then there's Steam which is likely different due to Steam integration, would need a separate trainer.

The desura site is the only one being updated. Currently GG is not being updated.

Updated. The money option still dose not work I hear that activated but nothing. Now I tried to snatch the line for the money but i could only lock it once then to find it again it failed to see the change.
But my work around to be able to gain the money works copy the highest price thing I have and sell it. So that sorts that.
