Pfff, Mayans, this is all about Nostradamus and Gangnam Style hitting 1 billion views. The intertubes will overload and Earth will implode.
Double Take's Hot Problems has 16.5 million views... that to me is enough to signal the end of days. That being said, I bought Hitman: Absolution to celebrate the world's termination. I will be sniping the out of fake people instead of Double Take.
At anyone that really thought the Mayans predicted the end of the world. Please note two things. One: the Mayan calendar is cyclical, once it ends it starts over at the beginning again... therefore it never ends. Two: even the freakin' Mayans had to get bored at some point... I mean come on... whoever was in charge of the calendar had to say at some point " this, 2012 is far enough out... I'm going to go and get !" I mean I'm not sayin' but I'm just sayin'.
