So I drive with Dennis to attack some pirates. We reach the end of the drive and he tells me to get out of the car. Pressing and holding the use key doesn't get me out of the car. I reload the last save point, take the drive again. Same problem. I reload the GAME again, take another drive. Same problem. I did use the skill function in the trainer earlier as soon as it let me buy them. Though I doubt this is the cause, I'm not discounting the possibility. But I don't want to restart the game from the very beginning.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any solutions, or should I just wait for a patch...
have you rebound the use key? I always bind the use key to one of my mouse keys, but during the scripted scenes where your told to enter or exit a vehicle, even though its not bound, it reverts back to 'E'. I couldnt for the life of me exit a car during one mission, cause i wasnt pressign the right key.
Ive also noticed sometiems the trainer interfers with some scenes, early on where the black guy asks you to enter the car, he just stands thare, and doesnt enter the car himself. But if i reload without the trainer running, he does. Havnt tracked down which optino causes this, so i just reload game if anything like this happens.
I had the same problem in the very first mission with Dennis (well, "with" is a bit of an exaggeration, as he just says "Get out of the car and kill the pirates, I'll wait here in a safe distance.", but anyway). I remapped the "Use" key to another one as well, but for me just entering the control options and leaving them solved it. Otherwise just see, if you can leave the car with the E or F key, or whatever the default key is.
Yeah I rebound the use key. Resolved it the same day but forgot to update here. As it turns out, there's a secret set of SHADOW key bindings that THEY don't want YOU to know about.
Flight is always WSAD, leaving passenger seat during that mission is always E and parachute is always E. I'm thinking there may be another few I don't know about because my knife-toss takedown always overrides my attempts at gunslinger takedowns.
