Trying to edit traits, think i screwedup

So at first I went to edit asset17 with regular notepad and everything came up gibberish. Nothing looked like actual coding

So I went and downloaded notepad++ but now everything still kind of looks like gibberish with a LOT of "null" words in black highlight. Is it supposed to look like this?

If I screwed it up is there a way to fix it because I've search everything for affinity. But it can never find what i want.
