Okay I've tested it and you're right, the trainer is crashing on Windows 8 unlike other trainers I've tested. You might contact Caliber on this.

Yes, I've tried uninstalling Comodo as well.

I just discovered that the crashlog points to URLMON.DLL which is part of Internet Explorer. The trainers are not compatible with Internet Explorer 10's version of URLMON.DLL. I downgraded to Internet Explorer 9 and all my trainers work again.
If you're unable to downgrade to IE9, then try using the offline key and physically disconnect your internet connection to the computer when launching. Haven't tested it though.
