In my case, I was forced to reinstall to whole game to get it fixed. The good thing is, you do not have to lose your saves when you delete the game and opt. for 'game data" as well. Just reinnstall the game, udpdate to 1.01 and you start where you left off. Sorry just my experience. ps. You are right, it did not affect my game data.
There's a huge demand out there to hide the HUD in this game. If you guys could do that in your trainer, I will buy a years membership just for that :-)
There's even a big petition on the UBI forums to get this feature included and also on the EA boards for NFS: Most Wanted 2012. You should consider doing this for most games moving forward as it could bring in some good business.

F9 Key: No HUD in Game - to use this, toggle it ON while at the main menu. When you enter the game, the HUD won't display. To re-enable the HUD you will have to get back to the main menu, and the toggle this off and then re-enter the game.
this option has been added to the trainer. pwizard will post the new trainer later. if you don't sign up for a new year i am going to BAN you (LOL!)
please spread the word about our great trainer and this option, if appropriate, in any forums you see or use regularly. we'd appreciate it.
Any chance of an option to clear your inventory? The Easy Crafting option adds rare beast skins to your inventory (As it should) but they cannot be discarded or sold, so when you complete the real mission, you're stuck with them forever, annoying when you're OCD like me.
Hi, great trainer ! Works great on my desktop, not so much on my laptop. When I press F1, I can hear the "Trainer Actived" sound, but when I press a key after that, I can't hear a thing.
I also tried the Editor/Trainer but it doesn't start at all. I think it's because I have Windows 8. When I start the Editor, it just keep asking me what program it should use to open a *.tmp file.
