I did the first two missions on normal first to understand them, then i did them again on purist. Nobody can honestly say this game is to easy on the highest difficulty.
I simply cannot understand where all the hate is coming from? The game is different from the old games in a good way, the custom contracts is a great way to keep the game alive after you have completed Absolution.
The game deserves atleast a 90 from pcgamer if you ask me. Instead of seeing the game with new eyes they choose to compare it to the old games.
I dont say this often anymore after buying a game, but im glad i didnt avoid this title.

Yeah I never really listen to the pro reviewers. Of course am going to compare the game to the old ones on certain points. But the main focus they should take is on the game mainly not comparing it. Of course I have loved how the old one's have been done. I might be a little ticked that they changed something I like to where it would be worse in my eyes. As many know that many of the games I have loved have been killed by there changes to make them better. I will defo be doing my next review on this next to be awesome edition to the hitman series.
The game is good. Not great, but good. It bothers me again and again that I have no powers over my loadout. All those weapons I pick up and seemingly "earn" I should get to choose. Even in the same levels you sometimes get all your weapons and current disguise stripped from you.
That, and the fact that "The Saints" are a ridiculous addition, are really my only gripes with the game. Purist is fun!
Got it this morning (Professional Edition), just started to install it and my brain exploded; 23Gb! 2 DVD's, I think I know what I'll be doing this weekend!
Well am still waiting for mine to arrive. Its rather frustrating cause am half n hour from the city its in and it left them at 10am this morning and its now 2pm. The wait is killing me.

It arrived 2 hours later I was so dam excited to get it I think the parcel dude was like seeing a 6 foot 2 inch dude jumping up and down giggling like a school girl over a parcel.
