Have any of you guys noticed that the older trainers do not work with Windows 8? I don't understand

Have any of you guys noticed that the older trainers do not work with Windows 8? I don't understand what happened because it used to work a few days ago. (possible windows updates?) In any case, I tried running the trainer as admin, there's a compatibility mode you can run but none of that works. Of course I know about the antivirus exception stuff....help!
