First let me say if I missed something obvious, just let me know so I can stop bothering everyone lol. To this day I've not played Divinity 2 DKS. But, I did play ED and really enjoyed it. What I want to know is has anyone touched this game yet? I know DKS (Dragon Knight Saga for those still wondering) was popular when it hit and was overall a good game.
How much different is this? Is it worth buying a new game? Knowing that the Save Games from DKS are officially compatible, does that mean the trainers work (or has anyone tried?) (If not, I'll post in the request thread, and @Caliber I'll make sure to send you the steam exe.)
I'm gonna get it either way, since I never bought DKS, but I wanted to hear the community's opinions.

Good to know thanks, as I said, ended up getting it, just haven't touched it yet. Anything I should know about it compared to DKS? I played Eco Draconis, so I know the story and the tower etc.

the latest trainer works for the Developers cut....
Like said before i dont think you really need the trainer with the developers cut... you can do ALOT with just the dev console ingame. I'm having fun transforming into diffirent things and nobody cares a damn. xD
Edit: Actually you can do alot more with the dev console than you can with the trainer... but from my experience of messing around with the console for 5 minutes.. erm let's just say the trainer is a bit more stable than the console.
So if you're going to use the console make sure you SAVE before that. Like it's said on the main menu it might cause something horrible to happen to your saves.
Ya it's funny how the "developer" mode doesn't work as well as a trainer does lol. If you really think about it, it's not surprising actually. Cal's trainers never f up. With that being said, ya my favorite thing really is the xforming you can do. I'll use the trainer for the rest. I used the console for coin and a bow, but otherwise ya it's worth using the trainer; and if you haven't played DKS like myself it's better to play the normal game. (Unless you like the transforms the best.)

Aye talking to the first guy when you select new game as LARGE demon and then running around like it's nobodys business can be fun by itself... I havent tested all the functions yet besides transform and the weird zephyr something that gives rank 1 on ALL skills.. 1 thing i did find out is that you cant load your old saves from DKS but then again that was to be expected... oh well guess i'll have to start all over again.
From what I've read in the regular game you can import your saves at least.
