It's definitely not working on mine. Could it be environmental? I'm running Windows 8 Professional x64 and I do not have any additional antivirus, etc. software installed.
PWizard, I'm having that same money issue, so I figured I'd ask this, where are you running the trainer from? I'm currently trying to run it from the binaries folder of the XCOM directory and I'm wondering if maybe the location of the trainer will have an impact. While I don't imagine it would be a big deal, as everything else works fine, it's all I can think of at the moment...
I can't start the game as admin for some reason. I try it from the application in the Win32 folder, it just never does, and if i try it from steam it confirms and never starts.
Can't use the trainer as of now, anyone know why this may be happening? Is everybody running as Admin?

I'm running as admin, but the problem I have is that when I exit the game, the game won't reopen unless I verify the files, and each time it says that one file could not be verified and when I start the game again it reinstalls that one file and the game starts fine.

I'm not explicitly running the game as admin. I'm logged into an admin account but UAC is still enabled with the defaults. Running the trainer as admin didn't seem to work either.
