1. The Editor/Trainer I downloaded: BORDERLANDS 2 EDITOR 1.0.35.4707 (09.27.2012)
2. The Windows error message, which came right after I click the Editor's "Click to Start Program" button: Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: ~mnn133.tmp Problem Signature 02: 1.0.0.0 Problem Signature 03: 50695cca Problem Signature 04: Borderlands2_Editor Problem Signature 05: 1.0.0.0 Problem Signature 06: 50695cca Problem Signature 07: 68 Problem Signature 08: e9 Problem Signature 09: System.InvalidOperationException OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1028
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit retail, running with traditional Chinese as OS display language, but the OS was purchased in the US (from Fry's).
- I can locate Microsoft.Net Framework 3.51 under "Turn Windows features on or off" box window from "Control Panel," which I turned on/off manually for testing. Didn't solve the issue. *An Error about accessing 3.5 from "Turn Windows features on or off" would occur if I attempt to install Framwork 3.5 downloaded from www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=21, which probably means it's already installed.
- I also have Microsoft.Net Framework 4 client installed
- The problem persists with only MS Security Essentials and MalwareBytes Anti-malware Pro as AV/AM programs. *I also use Spybot Search and Destroy, but it isn't a real time program.
Please help
-----Update------ I've tested with OS display language and time/unit format set to English(United States). Still the same Error message, except "Locale ID:" becomes 1033

Is the application and the game being ran with administrator privileges? Please post this information in the Editor sticky topic on the Borderlands 2 forum

Hi, Neo, Thank you for the reply. With admin privileges, it still receives the same error. Just to be in case, is there any specific procedure (running in certain directory, starting before/after the game, etc) for the Editor to work?

The only thing I can think of is that your editor version does not match the game version (files on CHU do not follow an "update to the lastest" scheme. Each version corresponds to the version of the game it was made for). If that isn't working then post this information in the editor sticky topic on the borderlands 2 topic to get the attention of 0x09

Try disabling and completely uninstalling MS Security Essentials, Malwarebytes and Spybot just to see if the problem goes away. The error message indicates that some security software is blocking or interfering with the trainer. Make sure you still right click run as admin on the editor.
