Using cheatengine i made myself lvl 50, which is beyond what your suppose to ever beable to get, and it scaled my health and stats accordingly, id post a screenie, but i cant seem to make one, no screenshot key, and prtscrn doesnt work
Hmm, I should have tried doing this before capping. When new level cap will be unlocked, I'll try bringing my level up to 100.

I'm reasonably sure that 22 is the level cap for playthrough 1. I could be wrong. But I am multiple zones past the Dead City, and I've been unable to level up. I do know that there is a New Game + function, and that there are certain weapons and items that are unobtainable until Playthrough 2. So maybe that's why. Either that or we broke the leveling system with our ill-advised cheating.
