Sleeping Dogs Discussion
The trainer didn't work for me at first, then I followed your suggestions above - running in admin mode, placed it in the same folder as the game, run the .exe of the game instead of from Steam.
It was working this morning; then this afternoon it started giving the corrupt game error again. I have rebooted but to no avail - any ideas what else might be causing it?
I played another mission and it worked again, so must have been something in the save game.
running retail patched steam version
---> retail patched steam version
yeah no idea what this even means.
the trainer was made with steam version. if you added anything or patched it beyond what steam normally does then there are no guarantees that the trainer will work.
its the steam version of the game...and atm the game pretty much crashes to desktop or i get the corrupted data error within 5 minutes of activating unl health option
I occasionaly had this issue. It's not the trainer, I've read on the steam forums the game can crash and corrupt savegames. Now, it only happened to me rarely, like 3 or 4 times but if you verify the game files through steam it should fix the problem. You may lose some progoss but it shouldn't be much. I would suggest trying to verify the intregity of game chase thorugh steam to fix the issue.
