Notes -------
As always, it's best to make several SAVES along the way in long, strategic games like this. That way you can reverse or revert back to previous saves if you want to undo changes you made to units.
The following options are to be used with the Add Value and Subtract Value and Super Value options (below). Use Tab to select a unit while in the action part of the game. The currently selected unit's values will be shown in the inventory they have and you can press F1 to see the attributes like Offense and Health values. Next, press one of the keys (Numpad 1 through Numpad 8) to select the item to modify. Next, press either the Add Value, the Subtract Value, or the Super Value key to modify the value. For instance, if the unit has Grenades and you want to add a grenade, press Numpad 5 and then press Numpad + to add a grenade. If you want the unit to have a massive amount of Health, press Numpad 1 and then Numpad *. You may have to Tab away and back to the unit to see it has changed. Likely these will remain at the level you set until the end of the mission, and then they will reset. If the unit isn't equipped with the item that the option modifies, then likely the option won't work. For instance, trying to give a unit Medkits when the unit isn't equipped with them or for them won't work.
Numpad 1: Modify Health - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 2: Modify Offense - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 3: Modify Defense - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 4: Modify WillPower - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 5: Modify Grenades - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 6: Modify Fire Rockets - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 7: Modify Shredder Rockets - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify Numpad 8: Modify Medkits - use with Numpad +,-,* to modify
Numpad 9: Add Money - while you are in the Base portion of the game, press this key to add more money. You may have to enter a section or purchase something to see it has increased.
Use the following options with the above Numpad 1 through Numpad 8 options as well as the below Numpad 0 through ] Key options to affect the values. For Super Value, this will set the value to 1000. Press Super Value again, and the value resets to 1. As stated before, Press the appropriate key FIRST before using these keys. It's probably best not to give yourself 1000 grenades and rockets. The maximum Barracks Rank you can have is 7.
Numpad +: Add Value Numpad -: Subtract Value Numpad *: Super Value
The following options are to be used with the Add Value and Subtract Value and Super Value options (above). While in the Base portion of the game, Enter the Barracks and then click VIEW SOLDIERS and then Select a soldier. Next Select one of the items below. Then, press either the Add Value, the Subtract Value, or the Super Value key to modify the value. For instance if you want to increase the Rank of the unit, press the [ Key and then press Numpad +. Once you have set these values, if you SAVE your game, these values likely will become PERMENANT, so make sure you have them where you want them and correct. You may have to swap to a different unit and come back to see that the changes have occurred.
Wow, that was quick. You guys proves time and time again why I never go anywhere else for trainers!
