Not sure about anyone else but I am looking forward to this release. Maybe the ending wont be as disapointing as the first game. The UI and classes look much better though. At any rate the pre-order was worth the 10% off with all the perks you get on steam.
Well, I just found out that the GMG price is supposed to be lower than what I got... if you go there NOW, it's discounted to $50, which means the 20% off code I gave above brings it to $40.
People who got it before me paid $40, people who got it after me paid $40, and I paid $48. DOH!!
I'm not even going to bother contacting support. The game is going to be totally worth it, I'm sure.

Ya, there's a retail Box available on Sept 18th. You can also pre-order that as well from GameStop, and probably many many other retailers. It WILL need Steam to activate, so if you don't have Steam you will need to register. Steam's free BTW.
I just pre-ordered this on Steam a couple of days ago and I'm just finishing yet another playthrough of Borderlands GOTY. I hope they allow CH Trainers IN SINGLE PLAYER since GearBox's code didn't seem to let them work well in the fist game. Man, I hope WillowTree also works or they get a new version out fast. I've had 12 guns saved in WillowTree that I keep giving new characters and leveling them up with the chars... no need to loot white, green or blue weapons except for cash ( though no real need for cash either ) .

And i never had a problem using a trainer in Single player even at release, so not sure what you mean about that.
Apparently 2 is going to be a bit better as far as loot goes though.
First thing im gonna do though is use CE to get max money or w/e it is they call it now and let CH do the rest

got 2 on Steam for my son n i to play when it comes out, did the same with the first one. i dont think im gonna bother with the season pass thing for the time being though.
I'm not getting their Season Pass either. Feels like it would be a waste of time. I had the GOTY edition of the 1st game so it came with all the DLC, but there is no way in hell I would have paid for Moxie's thunderdome DLC by itself. That was a horrible idea. The bank was nice, but not the whole 4 bagilion waves to get 4 weapons and then a moderate amount of experience only after you finished ALL of the waves/rounds. Waste.
Sure, the season pass is a nice idea from the publisher's view. They get upfront cash to spend directly on making DLC and getting it out faster. But thinking about it from a customer's view, maybe they'll feel rushed on getting that DLC out since they just took our cash. I'm sure there will be a TON of people with season passes complaining on the blogs/forums wondering when they're getting their DLC... every-single-day after main release.
