I bought a registration code and I've gotten the Chantelise v1.16 trainer which stated that it works for the Steam version of the game. I ran Chantelise 1.16 on steam after running the trainer. I activated the trainer at the main menu. Although, when I load a saved game, the game suddenly crashes after a few seconds. I have Windows 7 64-bit. I've tried compatibility mode and running as administrator but there is no luck. I do not want my money to go to waste. Please help!

Here's the error I received in the event log:

I have no current A/V and any other security programs installed. So, I completely disabled Windows Firewall and Windows Defender. I tried running the trainer and the game again. This time, the game crashed but I noticed two errors at the event log.

Exception code 0xC5 is an ACCESS_VIOLATION meaning that something is blocking the trainer (security software, incorrect trainer version, or otherwise) or that you are not running both programs with the same security tokens (read: not using 'Run as Admin' for both game and trainer). Both of these solutions are ones suggested in the trainer troubleshooting guide.
    Your bitterness, I will dispel

I'm still getting the same errors. The game crashes while loading a save or a few seconds after loading a save. It crashes after starting a new game too. I've tried everything like compatibility mode and running the game first before the trainer. I even tried when putting the trainer in the game directory. There's no luck.
