I don't have the game yet, both it sound like a driver issue,do you have the newest drivers and directx?, have you tried looking for a solution on the interenet, or wait for a patch
I have the same problem with the random crashing and the poor performance. I imagine that there will be a patch soon. At least, I hope there will.
Trainer or no trainer, the game just crashes at random. A few times, it crashed right at the menu. Makes me wonder if it is like the original Prototype that had an issue with certain Sound cards and settings.
You may be right about that last comment, ZenConcern. I finally got the chance to play today, and got in about 5 hours of gameplay with no issues, but that doesn't mean I cannot try and look up info about your issues....
Common suggestions I found scanning around the web on this issue says to try disabling V-Sync, and SLI/Crossfire if you have it on.
If the game is slow it was suggested to change sound setting in Audio Properties to "24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)"

got rid of the lag by turning off sli, now going to see what happens after adjusting sound. thanks for your help.
Going to try that bit about changing the sound settings. After changing the Anti-Alaising settings and the motion blur, I got the random crashes to stop. If changing the audio improves game performance, I am all for it.
Do you have the Latest flash player 11.3 ? because its a major issue atm it's Crashing for many people. it is causing crashes to websites viewing with flash players and also Games. it is a ongoing issue that Adobe are trying to fix.

updated all that still crashing. i verified files and it downloaded something. i verified again and it downloaded same size file, it'll do that everytime i verify files
