Final Fantasy XIII-2 Message Board  

a Working Save Editor has been submitted.

It works for PS3 AND Xbox360, ReadMe has been included.
Its MUCH Easier then using a Hexeditor and leaves no room for errors unlike using a Hex.

Forgot to mention, its meant to be used with the US versions of the games, whether it'll work on PAL versions and such is unknown.

the word "submitted" kinda gives it away, it may or may not appear here.

Yeah sadly im not sure why it hasnt been added..

Ill try to submit it again, if they dont add it which i see no reason as to why they wouldnt ill host it myself.

May just be a busy time for them, wait a couple of days and see what happens.

Technically though, the editor for the PS3 version of the game could get into the realms of naughtyness since it reverses the files encryption which is a no-no to Sony.

So if they hosted the editor and Sony see it, there is a chance they may give CH a hard time.

from what ive seen it doesnt mess with the Encryption to bad, all it does is what a hex editor can do which is change values which has nothing to do with encryption.

if encryption was a problem that wouldnt be possible.

XIII-2 isnt as screwed up as XIII was when it comes to being able to edit a save file.

I mean it fully works, so id think many people that come here that play XIII-2 would want it.

Its for PS3 and 360, only difference is that the PS3 version doesnt have much of what the 360 has in terms of options due to the encryption issue so its limited.
