I'm getting this game the SECOND Origin has it ready to pre-load.. I have been waiting for a TRUE follow up to Sim City 4 for over 10 years, at least 4 PC builds later, I await the Grandaddy of Epic returns from Sim City..

I don't mind the always on thing, Heck ALL of my games, Steam or Origin in some way Need to be able to call home..
I don't like it when I see torrents for cracks to play a game offline, I Like supporting developers.

Some people say EA is just a greedy company, hello, THEY are a COMPANY will stockholders, they need to fullfill a certain quota or the stock tumbles EA goes broke and NO games get made, then what? You want them back.. So Please don't complain about companies wanting to pay the bills..

Besides, I think the complainers don't have the slightest clue how to run any industry.. I help run a UPS Store, yeah it's small only 3 employees at the moment, but After learning how much a store costs to run, I have a new respect for EA who runs things a 100 times more complicated. So give them a break..

They release DLC for one of my games (The Sims 3) what seems like 2 times a month, but I understand they need checks as much as I do. I don't always buy TS3 DLC, but when I do, I know it's money not going to waste.

Honestly I think Sim City 5 will just be the BEST version, yes I heard some of the buildings in the E3 Presentation were bland looking, some grass was were it shouldn't be, but hey it's an early build..

I hope for the sake of the next 7 months, EA thinks of releasing a Beta for the online part, to help them spot Online bugs, because in house tests never spot everything..

Sure but Sim City 3000 only cost me $30 and I can live with those bugs. Usually the bugs these days require gigabytes of patches which I don't have good enough internet to download.
