go_darwin: Idk what my problem is but i cannot get this trainer to do anything for me. it recognizes game, says activated, but does nothing to effect the game. ive done reinstalls and redownloads. im lost
I appreciate the effort of creating the trainer, but is it possible to check it? I have the same issue as go_darwin. My version is Steam. File properties shows: 1.0.2.21 (343348) 11/9/2012. Interestingly when running Civ5 G&K, Alt+Enter does not work in Windows Explorer. I have to use context menu to get Properties.

Having the same issue also. I tried running in admin mode (my windows account is admin but tried anyways), turned off virus protection just in case, verified cache, and redownloaded game and trainer.
Start trainer, run game, press F1 at home screen, get trainer activated sound, start up a new game (or load an existing one), press numpad buttons get activated sound but nothing actually happens.
I did buy the game of the year edition from Steam. So don't know if that is what is making the difference.
I am now also having this problem. New trainer worked fine for a few days. I last used it Nov. 26 and it worked fine. Worked with mods too. Then haven't played for a few days. Tried to play today and no dice!
Don't know what the problem seems to be. Steam updated my Civ a while ago (also 1.0.2.21) so I figured i'd take a look. Trainer seems to be completely functional for me. All the options appear to be working. One of you mentioned that it was working one day and then you stopped playing and it inexplicably stopped working so I tried it two days in a row. I played it yesterday and today. It worked both days.
The only things out of the ordinary i've seen so far with the newest patch and one of the functions of the trainer has to do with the unlimited movement function.
There appears to be extra bugs associated with the unlimited movement and how Civ's pathfinding works because now, there is the possibility your unit gets caught in an infinite loop moving back and forth between two tiles and there appears to be no consistent way to break the loop. Additionally, if you start a game with unlimited movement already turned on, your new game will cause your units to start with 0 moves until your second turn.
Is someone going to acknowledge that this is not working and get it fixed? I see it says active still. Since the latest update this trainer is not working.
